The BIONADE GmbH is a young, innovative family-run company, producing non-alcoholic refreshment drinks in a completely organic way and selling them under the brand name BIONADE. The company is located in Ostheim within the Bavarian part of the biosphere reserve “Hohe Rhön”. It is a spin-off of the local private brewery, PRIVATBRAUEREI PETER. The non-alcoholic refreshment drink BIONADE is made from natural ingredients of organic quality through a purely organic fermentation process based on brewing techniques. All this makes it unique in the world. Certified master brewer Dieter Leipold has invented BIONADE and holds the worldwide patent on this drink. The development and production of BIONADE was possible due to his innovative biotechnological know-how.

As far as possible, the ingredients for BIONADE originate directly from the Rhön. This way BIONADE can guarantee they can be traced back. At the same time it supports local organic farming – to protect the environment. In general, BIONADE complies with the rules of the EEC-Regulation No 2092/91 on organic farming. Thanks to the favourable development of the company, BIONADE has become an important economic factor and employer for the region of Ostheim and the entire Rhön. The brand is about to become international.
