The brand name for quality coffee

Karl Strupp Gesellschaft m.b.H. was founded in Vienna in 1969 as a subsidiary of the German EDUSCHO Group. EDUSCHO as an individual brand has been market leader in the household roasted coffee market since 1984 – above all as a result of its unwavering dedication to first-class product quality with the typical Austrian taste and clear customer orientation. Our theme, “Freshly roasted, freshly ground and freshly drunk - the best comes from the whole bean”, determines our approach to the market.

At the end of 1996, the EDUSCHO Group was taken over by the German TCHIBO Group. Karl Strupp Gesellschaft m.b.H. today owns about 150 branch outlets, 1,800 specialist retail partners supply the SPAR organisation with freshly roasted EDUSCHO coffee and the BML Group with TCHIBO coffee extensively throughout Austria.

For Austria, the freshly roasted coffee is produced in the modern roasting house in Vienna-Simmering. However, since 1998 this production site has also been utilised within the production co-operative of the Group and contract work is also carried out for companies in other countries. To expand its product range, both EDUSCHO and TCHIBO offer highland coffees as “Eduscho Coffee Specialities” and “Tchibo Private Coffee”.

We also offer the consumer an attractive range of non-food products, every week covering a certain theme and at very attractive prices.
